Yearbook Themes

Your yearbook is going to preserve your schools memories for years to come so you will want to make it something your students and parents will enjoy. This can be done with a theme. Themes can be subtle or specific depending how much time you want to put into the theme. Here are some theme ideas below:

  • A subtle theme might just be a color scheme that remains consistent throughout your book such as Red, White, and Blue to give a patriotic feel.
  • Another subtle theme idea is the reoccurring use of a word. For instance, you could use the word TEAM. Then you could have pages named TEAM WORK and TEAM PLAY, TEAM MEMBERS etc.
  • A more involved theme might be something more specific such as a Carnival Theme where you utilize specific carnival related graphics and words throughout your entire book to establish a consistent and specific theme.
