Fundraising


Some schools raise funds through fundraisers in order to cut the costs passed on to students and parents. Here are some ideas that might work at your school:
  • Sell Advertising in your yearbook to local companies. Community support is always great!
  • Bike-a-thons, Walk-A-thons etc are great events to have because they cost very little to have. Have businesses or individuals sponsor by the lap or mile etc. They are a great way to get everyone in the school involved.
  • Bake sales are always popular especially if you have them when parents will be at the school. Tie them in with a sporting or music event.
  • Do a teacher talent show and charge admission. Don't forget to take pictures for the Yearbook!

If you can keep the cost of your yearbook affordable then more students will be able to have a yearbook that they can cherish for years to come.
